Kitagawa Europe was founded in 1982 as a joint venture between Kitagawa Corporation and S. Threipland to promote, stock and provide service for Kitagawa Corporation’s machine tool accessory products throughout Europe, Russia, Middle East, India and Africa via a distributor network.

 

In 2001 Kitagawa Europe opened its own offices in Dusseldorf, Germany to operate in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Greece, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, North Macedonia, Moldova, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Then in 2007 Kitagawa Europe opened an office in India currently based in Bangalore to trade directly throughout India.

Kitagawa Corporation all started with the supply of winches and pulleys to the support the rapidly growing Japanese maritime industry from which manufacturing processes were learned and constantly improved over time, applying this knowledge to a diverse and expanding range of products.

Kitagawa Corporation was founded in 1918 and as of March 2019 has a capital of 8,640 million yen (approx. €70 Million) with it’s Head office in Motomachi, Fuchu-shi, Hiroshima prefecture, Japan.

Kitagawa Corporation largely consists of three separate companies supported by administration, development and promotion divisions. These independent companies have different engineering and manufacturing focus, each company is explained in detail below.

Kitagawa SunTech Company - was established to deliver large-scale facilities related to infrastructure such as concrete plants, recycling plants (disposal of waste products at construction sites or disaster sites), construction machinery such as cranes for buildings and bridges and multi-story car parks.

 

Kitagawa Material Technology Company - Supplies parts for the automobile, farm machinery and construction machinery industries. The company is at the cutting-edge of casting technology, designing, development, and automation processes for work pieces related to these industries. Providing special materials such as Kitagawa Super cut (KSC) that excels in corrosion resistance and machinability, and cast iron KS550 having both excellent machinability and tensile strength.

 

 

Kitagawa Global hand Company - Manufactures and delivers high-quality standard workholding & work handling products on a global stage for the machine tool accessory industry. From this standard base experience the company can provide specialist workholding technology to meet the wide-ranging customer needs, providing greater accuracy and automation capability.

 

 

Kitagawa Europe to date solely represents and promotes the machine tool accessory products produced by Kitagawa Global hand Company. To augment and satisfy the varied workholding demands within its large territory Kitagawa Europe also promotes other high-quality work holding products such as Klamp products and others via long established partnerships.

Now with over 140 years of combined experience both Kitagawa Corporation in Japan and Kitagawa Europe have a long established history, operating together in the most advanced and diverse manufacturing environments on the planet to consistently deliver unbeatable workholding satisfaction to their customers.
