Visit Kitagawa in Hall 09 / D36 at METAV 2010, the international fair for manufacturing technology and automation.
Kitagawa Europe will be on display at the next METAV exhibition which will take place from the 23rd to the 27th of February 2010. It is the first international metalworking fair in the new year and a chance for trade visitors to take a closer look at the very latest developments and products Kitagawa has to offer.
This year Kitagawa will be exhibiting in Hall 09 / D36 and a number of new products and prototypes as well as a broad range of the best Kitagawa products will all be on show.
The new Kitagawa products for 2010 include the QJR Series (Quick Jaw Release) Quick Change Chuck which uses a quick change base jaw system that can accept standard metric serrated top jaws from existing B200 and BB200 chucks. Indeed the new QJR chucks are directly interchangeable with the popular BB200 series as they feature the same through bore, plunger stroke and drawtube connection positions. This allows the new QJR08 to effectively replace a BB208 chuck without the need for any special adaption parts. A new QJR series chuck will also offers an increase in gripping force when compared to the BB200 series.
Other new chucks include a new improved version of the DL Series, the NV Series (our largest ever chuck, see the recent news article for more information), the BBT Series (the two jaw equivalent of the BB Series), and the HW Power Chuck for vertical lathes. This is a large sealed 4 jaw 32" chuck that uses the YW double action cylinder to grip a component with two jaws, then the remaining two jaws. It also has four independent manual jaws, enabling power gripping and manual gripping all from one chuck - reducing the machine down time and increasing productivity.
Two new types of NC Rotary Table will also be on display. The GT200, GT250 and GT320 will all be available from the show and the MXM160 NC Rotary Table will also be introduced - designed for fast speed and heavy cutting and with an improved M-code function as it is now able to take up to four M-code instructions at the same time.
Elsewhere on the Kitagawa stand will also be the new super long VE125LWN vise as well as the new range of DH Series collet chucks amongst a wide range of other products. Kitagawa staff will also be on hand to aid with any questions or queries you may have.
